JOB SUMMARY:

This position is to perform scheduled maintenance tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Environmental Services. Position may

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (list specific job duties)

A. Direct the effort to have attractive and well-maintained grounds

B. Schedule repair/maintenance of machines, tools and equipment to ensure efficient operations

C. Provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations by maintaining utility systems

D. Develop preventive maintenance programs; recommend measures to improve operations and condition of machines and equipment

E. Review new product plans; discuss equipment needs and modifications with design engineers; requisition tools, equipment and supplies required for operations

F. Prepare department budget and monitor and contain expenditures

G. Participate in the facility's "Performance Improvement Program"

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

H. Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws


QUALIFICATIONS:

? Functional literacy in English is required
? Knowledge of building codes and rules/regulations operating plant equipment
? Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
? Compliance of OSHA and other safety requirements
? Physical ability to lift/carry /operate equipment and supplies is necessary
? Five years experience in institutional maintenance
? One year supervisory experience preferred
? Motivating and directing employees
? Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
? Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school
